Week of January 21st, 2008

Dear Friends,

This past week was a time to pause and reflect on two American landmark events.

Week of January 14th, 2008

Dear Friends,

I’m running for State Assembly because I feel strongly about making Wisconsin a better place to live. I’m passionate about providing better education opportunities, securing real healthcare reform, bringing family supporting jobs to our area, and preserving our environment. But campaigning is not just about my vision. It’s about our shared vision. One of my goals during the campaign has been to meet with people and listen to their concerns, hopes, and vision. Each week brings new meetings, events and new friends. Ellen, Ben, Tom, and Theresa, thank you for sharing your thoughts, concerns and ideas with me this week. I’m richer for the experience and appreciate your friendship and support.

This week I met people at several events, including some events related to the outdoors. Each one was an opportunity to hear about what is important to the people in and around the 81st District.

Dear Friends,

I hope that your New Year has started well and that it brings you success and happiness.

With the beginning of a new year comes the opportunity to reflect on all that our campaign has accomplished in 2007 and consider our goals for a successful 2008.

Week of December 18th, 2007

Dear Friends,

Despite the snowy weather, I’ve continued to do doors every day this month. Given the year-end and holiday events, it’s a tricky endeavor!

These past two weeks were so packed with events and door-to-door campaigning that I’m just now catching up on emails and communications. I’ve attended so many events here in the 81st Assembly District that I’ve been unable to go to a couple the State Assembly Fundraising events downtown. I must say, the events in the district have been worth it.
