Quick update!
We are closing in on the finish line! Here are a couple of quick campaign update items.
Another labor group endorsement – The men and women deputy sheriffs of the Wisconsin County Police Association announced their endorsement of our campaign today. Volunteer opportunities – We are in the final days of an amazing grassroots campaign and your help is needed now more than ever. Respond to this email for additional information on how to help out on our final push. You can also contact April at (310) 625-7276.
Positive Finish – I’m proud that the clean campaign pledge that I challenged my opponents to join me in signing has been largely followed. We have run a positive grassroots campaign and have resisted the temptation to respond to negativity. We can change the tone of politics, even if it is one candidate at a time.
Newspapers – We were the only campaign with a significant presence in the two local papers in the district. We had a great ad in each and even had positive letters to the editor in each paper. Over half of the campaigns were not represented in these final pre-primary local papers. Special thanks to those who wrote such wonderful letters!
Final pre-primary task – Other than volunteering and sending in that last grassroots donation, we need you to think of your friends and family that live in the district. Contact them and ask that they join in supporting me. If they may have difficulties getting to the polls, you could offer to drive them on Tuesday. Your taking this simple, small action could make the difference in our winning. Thank you!!!

Victory Party – I would like to formally invite you to our victory party! We will be gathering at Rex’s Innkeeper located on Hwy 113, just at the North Edge of Waunakee. Festivities will start at 7:00 PM.
